A: You do the activities on the
Activity Cards!
There are at least three key skill areas that children need knowledge in order to be successful in kindergarten.
These are:
Language Awareness
Print Knowledge
- Emergent Writing
The Activity Cards are the key to assisting the child progress in these three skill areas.
How to use the Get Ready to Read! Activity Cards
There are 36 cards in this part of the program.
Each skill area has twelve activities.
Each skill areas has three levels of difficulty:
1. Beginning 2. Making Progress 3. Ready to Read
Make a plan so you can work with your child using these activities at least three or four times a week. Most importantly, make it fun!
