The mission of First Teacher Siouxland is to offer familes support, information, and respect in the role as their child's first and most influential teacher.
We are committed to empowering parents as well as teachers and caregivers by providing training and a research based curriculum.
When children are exposed to these meaningful experiences in the areas of language, reading, and writing, it increases the possibility that they will become successful learners.

First Teacher Siouxland has incorporated the Get Ready to Read! initiative and the Every Child Reads program into our project. Both programs promote pre-literacy skills for pre-school children.
